Larger family bathroom or walk in wardrobe in master suite?

In our new extension, we have room for :
a large family bathroom (bath, seperate shower area, lots of space) or
a smaller family bathroom (bath with shower over) and a walk in wardrobe in the master bedroom

I dont think either would add more value, but which would you prefer in a 4 bed/2 ensuite family house? Thanks!

The bigger bathroom

Provided you have enough storage or room for wardrobes in the master bedroom then the larger bathroom would be my priority. The walk in wardrobe would be a nice-to-have but I can't imagine someone complaining about the larger bathroom.

Is there an option of a bathroom big enough for a separate shower but without lots of extra space and using the remaining space for the master bedroom? Why does it need to be a walk in wardrobe rather than just extra space in the bedroom?

I'd rather have more space in the bedroom than in the bathroom, but I like a separate shower.

the family bathroom will be at the end of the landing/hall next to the master suite. so it could go all the way from its door in the hall to the rear wall.

Or, it could go from the hall to say half way back - thus leaving a large alcove in corner of the master bedroom. Which I thought would make a good walk in wardrobe.

Its not needed as just 'space' because the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom (bath and seperate shower) will be large anyway. There is room for wardrobes along the same family bathroom wall, but a walk in wardrobe would be much neater.

So the family bathroom will just be for children.
