We had a new kitchen fitted in feb , we noticed over the last week that the freezer door ( intergral appliance) seemed to be uneven and that the freezer was not sealing properly
I rang the company this morning who told me that if it is a problem with the freezer that I had to contact the manufacturer directly
Is this right? I thought there was something in the trade of goods act that my contract is with the company rather thatn the manufacturers. i have asked them to come out as it looks like the freezer has been fitted incorrectly but if they try and fob me off what is the legal standing? I know with Comet or similar you can insist that they replace item but is it the same with a kitchen company? And what happens if the freezer stops working?
