Has anyone got one?

dreams of no more gunky tea and not having to clean the shower screen

First, you need to determine the water quality in your area of residence. Second, choose the water softener type, salt-based, salt-free, depending on your situation. Finally, choose the brand, material and quality of the water softener. Now, some people will provide some articles about the introduction of water softeners. You can use this as a reference when choosing.

We bought one about 4 years ago, I think it was about £600, including fitting. We took it with us when we moved house and the guy who had originally fitted it came and re-plumbed it in the new place. It’s amazing! Cleaning the kitchen and bathroom is so much easier! We have a separate tap for drinking water that doesn’t go through for softener.

Or through the softener even!
