Different water temperature

We've just moved into a new house. The water from the kitchen and bathroom taps gets very hot, but the bath tap only gets warm. We've checked to see if there is a temperature control on the bath under the panel. There wasn't one there. We have a combi boiler without a water tank. Any ideas what could be causing the temp difference?

Is the bath (and only the bath) a single outflow (not separate hot-cold), I wonder if the cold is getting into hot somewhere along the way.

What if someone previously had young children in your house & limited the temp in some kind of way for your bath?

I deduce that you now have a combi boiler.

A combi can heat X litres of water per minute by Y degrees.

If you increase the amount of flow, for example using a large bath tap, the temperature will decrease. If you reduce the flow by turning the tap down, the temperature will rise.

This will be more noticable in winter when the incoming cold water supply is colder.

They are all mixer taps. That makes sense PJ. The temp is fine for ds, but I like my baths almost boiling Grin. I'll try running the tap slower/less water. Is there any way to fix this other than putting in a new boiler/hot water system?

nope.

that's what combis do

it will be better in summer when the incoming water is not so cold.

Guess what I haven't got?
