Our house has blinds on pretty much every window.
A while back I bought a load of blind cord cleats but haven't got round to putting them up because they screw into the walls. I am ok using a drill but never have enough child-free time to get this done.
However, my 12mo DS (DC2) is clearly very inquisitive and we are now undertaking some serious "baby proofing" (DC1 was less of a problem in this regard). DH never has time to do it, so FIL has been helping when he can. Most importantly the new improved stair gate has gone up, and the kitchen cupboards have had locks installed.
But we haven't had time to install the cleats yet.
I bought some of the clip-on cord winders from Emmay and they do work (for me), but the cleaner and any guests who stay can't work them out and most have already been removed. So I'm back to the cleats.
Here's the point of the post. FIL probably won't have time to put up the cleats for maybe 4-6 weeks. DH certainly won't have time, and nor will I. If I use some strong adhesive like 'No more nails' to stick them up for now, will that be "good enough" for now? I guess it's better than nothing?
Are there any other suggestions? We have blinds in the conservatory and there I have just stuck up white plastic hooks for speed, but don't want to do that elsewhere.
Thanks!
