White gloss or Farrow and Ball?

I am about to paint our porch- should be preparing now rather than seeking distraction! Most of our early Edwardian house's paintwork is white gloss, though I plan to change over time. I have a can ready to do the porch- 2 windows, 2 doors and surrounds, but I'm thinking a more muted colour would be good eg Pointing, if I can face a trip to Homebase. Ideas? Or should I just get on with it, and go with the white?
I can no longer make any decisions without consulting MN.
Thanks

All our paintwork is pointing
Love it and really easy to touch up if need be ie small cars bashing the skirting boards

My entire weatherboard house was painted in F&B both inside and out and tbh i'm no longer convinced.. since new rules and regs came in a couple of years ago the exterior paint is now water based and it just isn't hardwearing enough, it chips, flakes really easily.
However, I have recently discovered the solution...
Go to Leyland / Johnstones and they will mix the any colour from F&B/FiredE/LGPC ranges in oil based exterior gloss AND it's cheaper!
Have just painted all my doors and the finish is fantastic.. am v chuffed.

Sorry just read it is for exterior
Yes farrow and ball is now not oil based so I would not use outside
I love the sadolin super dec range for external paintwork and at crown decorator centres the can color match.

It is the inside of the porch, but takes a lot of traffic. Children are now older, but we have a BMX stored here, plus a load of the animal stuff. I have started with white gloss as I thought it would take more knocks. I also had a spare can.
There is also a small cupboard, which I am going to do in another colour- strong white, shaded white or blackened. It used to be a shaker blue, but I wanted a change, and it looks cheap and nasty in white gloss. It is a rubbish cupboard to be honest -DH built it to house the meter and fuse box.
Thanks for the advice about Leyland/ Johnstones. I will definitely go for Pointing inside!
