new polycarbonate roof leaking; what should be our next step?

would really appreciate some advice on this one.

Our sun room (a small extension fitted on the back of the kitchen) had a new polycarbonate roof fitted last October. The manager came out and took measurements and it was manufactured to size (Heat Guard panels). When the fitters came to install what should have been an afternoon job they came up a big problem- part of the roof was too small. The manager had taken a couple of measurements and 'assumed' the room was a perfect rectangle; it's not and widens towards the house. It took three days for them to try and remedy this by adding on extensions of cladding etc.

Fast forward to August and we have had 7 incidents of leaks with rainwater pouring in at several points where the bodge job is- today it has leaked again and is coming in at 12 different points including an area where there is a double socket.

Manager nows sounds fed up when I ring up to tell him there is another leak- he sends his men out and they add/take off more cladding, bung on silicon etc but nothing works for long.

Last time they came out they said that the problem is a small tear on the flat roof that the polycarbonate roof adjoins but this is a load of bollock as the roof was checked in March and there is no way a tear could cause leakage to that extent on a seperate bit of the roof 5 feet away.

Am very pissed off with them and am having to waste another day waiting for them to turn up so they can patronise me and pass the buck.

What rights do we have?

thank you

www.nfrc.co.uk
This is the link for National Federation of Roofing Contractors.
My DH had a similar problem at work, the above were contacted, they sent out somebody to inspect the work in dispute and the roof was replaced by the original contractors.
