Sloping Sink, a messy question

I am in the process of having the bathroom re-modeled after having lived for the past 6 years in a luminous orange bathroom (what possessed the previous owners, I have no idea) I am thinking of having a sink built in with a sloping base like this www.elledecor.com/image/tid/4582?page=4 Any one got one? How do you clean the plug???

I like it.... I'm assuming you can get in from underneath to clean it.... or you just look and don't touch Wink

It's pretty but could it be a case of style over substance? In addition to cleaning issues, what do you do if you want a full sink of water? If you drop something in the sink e.g. lids of beauty products, hair clips etc (I do this all the time) aren't they just going to roll down the trap and either block it or be a faff to get out?

I hate the way I've got all practical in my old age. It's a very pretty sink.

It's very 5*hotel restaurant loos. Stylish. But where do you spit your toothpaste when cleaning your teeth?

This is the idea for the cloakroom so I probably won't be brushing my teeth in here but it'll certainly be a faff to get out anything dropped down it. I might have to talk my husband out of it, unless he wants to be in charge of the cleaning (change would be a fine thing! Grin )

ha ha, it's a practical joke.

How the designer must laugh if anybody actually buys one.
