Sorry know I keep asking dull kitchen questions but having waited ten years to refurb kitchen I'm now getting jittery and perhaps overthinking.
Can't decide between quartz or Corian surfaces- any advice much appreciated!

I've got white Caeser stone, which is a composite. 3 years on it looks as good as it did when it was fitted. Cleans up with Flash spray and Limelight/Method Tub Scrub (around the taps - I live in a hard water area).

I have light grey corian....... what I like about Corian is that if we ever choose to extend the worktops or change the layout a bit, the joins in corian are invisible!!!!!!!!!

I fully intend to only ever have to pay for one worksurface in my lifetime Wink it was so bloody expensive I don't think I could ever justify it again!

Thanks for replies-it's such an expensive outlay that feel have to get it right-had heart set on Corian than swayed by Caeser stone ahh!!!

Does your kitchen design requires joins? I wanted quartz and not Corian but didn't want visible joins so that influenced me to change my kitchen plan from a U-shaped to one with a run of wall units plus a separate large double unit width island instead.

Thanks myron- no my kitchen layout won't require joins - two straight runs of work tops.

No contest - Quartz for me. I've ordered Starlight Black for both my main run of white gloss units and for my bright red gloss island. Absolutely love the mirror flecks in it! You need to look at loads of samples and in the showrooms to see examples in situ.

We have grey corian which was installed 6 years ago and still looks fantastic.

Thanks ungratefulchild-have decided after months of indecision to go for white Corian. Now have to start living on air as won't be able to eat due to cost of Corian!
