Mirror above the BATH??

I like this house although it needs some work doing. But a mirror above the bath?? I think that weirds me out too much for me to want the house!

Surely noone wants to see their wobbly bits when they are enjoying a nice bath??

The mirror is at an angle so you won't be able to see your wobbly bits... it'll be anyone else in the bathroom who will have a great(?) view. I'm not sure that's much better.

Oh yes, good point physics dunce.

Still a bit wrong all round.

Bad fireplace too.

Surely you wouldn't discount a house just because of a mirror? It's so easy to rip it out and paint over.

(agree it's a bit weirdy)

No, not really minipie. Just being a drama queen.

It is a strange decision to have a mirror over your bath though. Maybe as nocake suggest it at an angle that makes it act as a dressing mirror if you are stood in the room? Really have no grasp on physics

Just made me curl up a bit inside when I first saw it!

I've seen a mirror above the bath in a few show homes, usually in a pokey bathroom with no window - I think the idea is to make the room look bigger, not sure what it is about in that room though? Grin.

I can beat that for oddness, when we bought our house in the ensuite the wall opposite the loo had a giant mirror glued to the wall Hmm. Needless to say that went the journey - who the hell wants to sit on the loo and look in the mirror Confused.

I've stayed in a few places that seem to find a need to have a massive mirror opposite the toilet, I find that well weird. Never seen one on bathroom ceiling though

The house we bought has a full length mirror in the shower. Luckily it steams up quite quickly. I have lost a stone though, it must be putting me off my food.

I had one in a flat I used to live in. It was there when I bought the place, and I never got around to removing it because it was massive and screwed to the wall. Actually it was a whole wall, thinking about it. I couldn't work out what I would do about tiling if I did; I couldn't afford to re-tile the whole bathroom at the time.

I found it weird at first, especially as you could see yourself on the loo, but actually once I got used to it it was quite handy for armpit shaving/eyebrow plucking type purposes and it did make a small windowless room feel bigger and lighter.

Still wouldn't put one in myself, mind...

i went to a restaurant where there was a mirror on the back of the loo door, but not at standing height, oh no, it was at the height so that you got a full frontal shot of yourself doing a wee
