Corner units... which is best???

Hi everyone,
Terribly dull question... but hopefully others who have been through the whole doing-up-the-kitchen thing will be able to help.

In our new kitchen design we have two corner cupboards, and want to use them well. We've looked at getting one with kidney-bean shaped shelves, where they sort of swing out. And possibly one carasoul. But there are other options: a thing called a magic cupboard, which has square shelves, and you pull out one side, then the other side comes out. I'm now completely confused as to which is best - in terms of holds the most, and in terms of easiest to use.

The magic one is a bit like this

The kidney one

And the carasoul is obvious - like this one

Can anyone who has any of these advise me on which to go for!!

Many thanks,
madcows

I'm going to watch as would like to know! I've seen the magic corners in a showroom and they feel sturdier than the carousels but would like real life experiences.

We've had a magic corner for years, and it's great. You pull out a section like a standard pull-out larder, and then swing it to one side to bring the back section across to get to it. We keep less used stuff at the back but the pull-out section is used every day.

Also look at these as an alternative. I've installed these for a client and she loves them, she keeps cups/mugs/crockery in them.

If you have L-shape corner units, the magic corner will give you more space for storage and is a more solid mech.
You should get the best you can afford on wire work as these will be more likely to break quicker than anything.
Also one with a tray base as if you spill anything the inside of the unit is hard to excess to clean up.

Our is like this below.

If you have two corners you could do different things with them.

What you don't see very often is offset shelves - I had the fitter build these into the unit (ordered a couple of extra shelves) as it wasn't a standard option.

couldn't find a photo but I've put one on my profile (sorry about the crappage stuffed in!). I find them much more accessible than the single deep shelf halfway up.

Oooo I like that fossil

Fossil, those are great... And so simple. But it just adds yet more choice!!!

We also have offset shelves which, when we moved into the house, I cursed as a waste of space but now love. Its brilliant for taller items like the Magimix.
