Can you girls take a look at the house for me and give me some feedback. The EA is saying they all give good feedback so why isn't it selling?

It looks a bit cluttered, little things like the curtains in one room are not drawn back neatly. Little things like that make it look untidy.

Plus things stored on top of the kitchen cupboards, it makes it look like you havent got room to store things in the kitchen cupboards.

I think a good clear out (you'll have to anyway when you move) would help.

Do you want to sell it? You mentioned upthread that your ex is making you homeless. Are you certain he can do that? Usually courts will let the mother and children remain in the home until youngest child is 18.

I know that's not relevant to your question, I'm just wondering how your STB ex is allowed to make you homeless.

Agree with the dark curtains and water stain.
Where do you eat? Is there a table in the conservatory? As the lounge diner doesn't have one nor the kitchen. Kitchen is lovely though!

Hi, sorry for lack of reply. In reply to the question of my wanting to move, no I don't want to move from here, this is our home Sad but he's stopped paying the mortgage and I cannot afford the repayments myself Sad so it's either I agree to the sale or he gets it repossessed.
The EA was the manager who took the photos. We eat in the conservatory and has a full dining suite. Last night we cut the grass and got some stuff that will hopefully clear up the water mark on the wall. I've got my solicitor to find out from my ex if I can paint the main bedroom and do some other extra bits in the home.

That's such a shame. He's being very stupid by not paying the mortgage and destroying his credit rating.

I hope you find a buyer and things work out for you. Karma will come back to bite your ex on the arse.

Got another 2 viewings today but I am feeling more and more anxious about the move as I still have nowhere to live

Good, you've cut the grass at the front. This, combined with the water stain, makes it look uncared for in the photograph.

  1. Move footstool in front of the television to side of sofa out of sight
  2. The 2nd low angled shot (why?) of the living room highlights the clutter on top of the bookcase, is that a trouser press at the back? And why the heck didn't the EA pull the curtains back?
  3. Clear clutter down side of oven and again change angle of shot so am not focusing on stuff at top of cupboards. I'd want to know where I'd be eating so need a picture of the conservatory
  4. Ditto angle of bedroom shot.

No sense of how this can work as a family home (eating/sleeping) no garden pictures. EA needs to do a better job imo.

Don't worry, even when you get an offer, the process of selling will take a few months. We had an offer accepted on a house in March and we are yet to exchange contracts.
