Is it at all yellowy?

Dulux seems to have been making natural Calico for years. My parents have it, and we have just painted our baby's nursery in it. I love it - not at all yellow, really easy to live with and seems to go with everything.

I have to ask, what's the difference between all of these and good old magnolia? I have just moved into a house that's dark wood doors and skirtings etc and had apricot coloured walls throughout so am going through it with a vat of magnolia in an effort to brighten it up.

Magnolia does have quite a pink tinge to it, and weirdly also manages to be quite cool-toned at the same time. But still a better choice than apricot Grin

pink tinge? really? wow, had not noticed that but then perhaps it's because the house is quite shady......... and yes, a million times better than apricot!!

I've just painted a bedroom in this colour and really like it.

Dotty in my defence am a retired interior designer so ridiculously obsessed with different shades of neutral have looked at lots Grin

We have natural hessian downstairs and jasmine white in our room. A nice white and not too harsh.

ooh, this is interesting. I'm wondering whether to rethink my magnolia scenario. Although my pils just brought us about 8 tins as they were on special offer, as a housewarming present!!

I have natural calico on the walls. It is not yellowy at all. I wanted something light but not cold and am very pleased. The woodwork is white and the chimney breast feature wall is crispy crumble - it has worked well

Natural Calico isn't at all yellow, but isn't ageing well on my stairs and hallway, it's very light and the munchkins grubby finger marks show very easily. Wish I'd gone a bit darker
