What colour paint to go with this fabric?

www.villanova.co.uk/collections/prints/delaware/delaware.html in the Mimosa (the last icon 07)

I am planning on having two roman blinds made up in this fabric for my dining room. They are to fit two sash windows that are side by side. The dining table, sideboard and cabinet are oak, and we have dark brown leather dining chairs (these are all staying). The floor is original oak stain.

There are two internal doors (one to the hall, one to the family room), both white gloss and white gloss skirting boards. They are also staying this way to match with the other rooms in the house.

What do you think for paint? The room is east facing if that makes any difference, so sun in the morning.

Difficult to say without seeing the room, but I do rather like the blue in the fabric - could you find something paler but similar? If it is an older house ( which the sash windows indicate it might be) with a picture rail I think the blue shade with white over the picture rail might look lovely.

Grey

I have just painted my dining room "Alfie" by B&Q colours, and it is a nice tuape/grey colour. It is 2/£20 at the moment. We have slate floors, oak dining room table/chairs, brown tweed sofas.

higgle - the fabric that we've chosen is in a different colourway (I can't get the link to link to the colourway though). It is the last icon, the mimosa

Gapants - I wonder if the Alfie will go with this colourway? I like the thought of a grey tinge

Hard to tell from my computer screen, but the fabric has a beige/taupe background? I think it would work?

Tester pots are £1.

You could pick out the yellowy green. Pale Hound by F&B or something like that? Works nicely with oak although it's not currently the trendiest colour as it's on the yellow spectrum rather than amongst the fashionable greys.

fresh I will definitely try the Pale Hound. Would make a nice change from all the neutral paint in my house, actually, without being too bols so as to look like it doesn't beling. Cheers.

Gapants - Alfie is on the list of tester pots to buy! To add to my everygrowing collection of tester pots ...
