How much for timber driveway gates?

We want to have gates fitted to our driveway which is about 12ft wide (want them about 6ft high). Nothing too fancy or electric. Any idea on cost? I'm in the north west if that helps. Thanks.

there's a few others on there.
We got our gates off there made to size and saved us many £'s.
you will prob have to add the furniture and end support posts but the 1st were nice in looks and cost

A wide heavy gate needs something special in the way of posts. People who do them tell me a brick pillar won't do. They put in a square steel post and conceal it by laying brickwork round it.

The concrete foundation needs to be quite wide, running in the plane of the gates. If you can run a concrete "sill" between the two posts, binding the foundations of both with a bit of reinforcement, it will prevent them tilting towards each other. This trick also works with ordinary garden gates, and is not much extra work. You will often see old gateposts leaning in.

Also what you could do if you cant do the above.
you can put the gates on castors to take the weight.
Our gates are not as high as yours and bi-fold due to small drive way.
My DH put them on castor he sourced from toolstation. we got the ones with foot locks and they hold 125 kg each so could be another avenue to look at
