Re arranging existing units- am I kidding myself?

My kitchen is quite big and we only had it fitted 10 years ago. However I need to get a new cooker as my DD(13) loves to cook but due to various reasons would prefer her to use an eye level oven, and also a separate ceramic hob. Have free standing dual fuel now.

So to fit in the oven need a full hight unit but not where oven is slotted in ideally as would look weird.

Has anyone re arranged existing units without wrecking them? Know I will need new work top but do not want and cannot afford a completely new kitchen.

Any ideas? Thanks

yes, we moved a number of ours when we added a conservatory and knocked out the window.
We also reused some of the work-top although we did have to get an extra bit.
They move very easily.

Yes, we took all of ours out to have a new floor fitted, then put them back in, added some, had them repainted, and a new work top. It was fine.

I'm pleased to hear this works too, we have an island that seats 3 children, we now have 4 and I think a kitchen table in it's place would work much better but don't want to lose the storage.
Hope your kitchen works out too OP
