Please tell me it is so easy I could do it with one hand behind my back, and not that a) I'll need an expensive oven mending person or b) that I need a new oven Hmm

Ooh I shall watch this as I have a feeling that the thermostat on our oven has gone too. No idea where to get one or how to take the old one out. I don't even know where the thermostat is!

All I know is, if a new thermostat doesn't solve the problem of having things burnt on the top and bottom but raw in the middle then we need a new oven Sad

Oh Rhubarb it seems the oven experts have left the building Sad

Yup, looks like we're on our own!

No you don't need a new oven and it is easy but you'll need both hands so won't be able to do it with one hand behind your back.

Look on youtube as there are a couple of excellent videos showing how to do it.

If you aren't sure if the thermostat is working buy a cheap oven thermometer and check the temperature.

I've looked in most shops for oven thermometers, seems I might have to order one online.

Good idea to check YouTube.
