Is this Karndean quote about right?

For decent sized kitchen and hallway, including screeding and fitting, £2448.

Makes me gulp a bit but we really want the same flooring in kitchen and hall, want it as close to wood as we can get and don't want tiles.

Just wanted to check we wouldn't be ripped off if we went ahead.

TIA Smile

Is there a reason you're not having actual wood?

Not recommended for kitchens I think, and tbh we are messy and have small children who spill things! Also Karndean is a bit softer.

Very similar to the quote we've just got for Karndean. Which one are you going for? We really want a wood effect but I'm worried it will look mismatched and a bit too woody with our kitchen units which are a horizontal grained oak.

Leaning towards the wide planks in French Oak - have always gone for dark floors before but it's really lovely. We'd really love the herringbone parquet but the quote for that was over £3800!!!!!!

We're having white units with wood(effect - we know our limits!) worktop, presuming we can get a similar colour worktop.

Love horizontal grained units, saw some in a magazine recently and loved them.
