Are there rules about how far gas cylinders need to be from the cooker, from the house?
Are they expensive to buy? to run?
Are lots of cookers convertible?

Are those almost butler sinks from Ikea any good?
Can you put sinks into an island?

Can you have a kitchen in a conservatory? Do I need to do anything special safety wise?

How much kitchen can you fit in 16 by 12 reducing to 10? Is it worth it?

I hated mine katy IMO they are one of those things that look great but arent very practical...I like to leave dishes in hot water in the sink to soak sometimes and you just cant so that with an enamel sink...the water goes cold so quickly and if you are on a water meter bear in mind they take a lot more water to fill!

It'll be laminate worktops and stainless sink for me next time!

Good luck

We inherited a butler's sink and I haven't broken anything in it in 6.5 years, and I'm very heavy handed (have broken most of my best thin crystal glasses just drying them Hmm

A quick squirt of bleach gets it shiny clean. I doubt it is even a good quality sink as none of the rest of the kitchen (indeed nothing in the house) the previous owners left behind is high spec.

So 1 veiw each way

TBH with a dishwasher we are likely to only do a bit of washing up, it there is lots we will take it to the other kitchen & fill that dishwasher too!!
