Long shot - fabric for blinds to match F+B Elephant's Breath?

If I can find the answer to this anywhere it'll be MN!

We have a long window with a radiator underneath. To avoid short curtains I want to use long white curtains at the sides (which we won't really close) and probably a roman blind in the middle. I read that it looks good to pick up the wall colour in the blind but I'm worried about it clashing.

LOVE Elephant's Breath but it is a complicated colour! Like greige?

Has anyone matched this colour?

I really dont think you need to match it exactly, but a simple linen look fabric would work.
Laura Ashley Bacall fabric in Truffle would look good

My sister has just done one of her bedrooms in Elephants Breath and its lovely. Will find out the fabric she's having (recommended by interior designer!)

Yay! That would be great!

Have a look at Romo Linara - it comes in billions of colours including lots of greigey neutrals.

What I would do is paint some Elephants Breath on a piece of cardboard, then take that along to john lewis or somewhere else which has all the romo linara colours, and see what matches. Something that is a lighter or darker version of the same colour would work too.

You could put some sort of white cord or ribbon trim along the bottom of the roman blind to tie it in with the curtains.

Or you could do the opposite maybe - white roman blind with an Elephants Breath-type colour trim. That way if you change the wall colour it's easy to remove the coloured trim and replace with something else...

It looks very good with plain (not too chalky) white and agree that linen would be lovely.

Ooh lots of ideas - thanks!
