I always use Wright & Wright in Guildford - same as above really.

Thanks, any idea of costs or does it vary?

Costs vary. A small firm where you speak to the same person every time will cost more than a big conveyancing company where a team deals with your case. You can expect to pay around £600 + VAT if you're selling and the same again for the property you're buying plus the costs of the searches. The big conveyancing firms can be ok if you're prepared to keep on top of them and if the purchase is all quite straightforward.

First property lawyers for you (online) have been fab for us. We went with them as they were cheap but they have been v speedy and the online ststem helps us feel informed throughout the whole process.
