Has anyone bought a fitted kitchen (ie Wickes for eg) and mixed and matched the units?

Is that possible?

We're considering a new kitchen; I'd like it to be fitted (not freestanding) but I don't want it all the same

We have half our units from Wickes and half from B&Q. They had a very similar cheapie oak range; B&Q were more expensive but had drawer/cupboard combos that Wickes didn't have, so we mixed and matched. No-one has never noticed.

I sell kitchens and within the range all the cabinets are the same so you can put any doors on them and get the mix and match look eg it's really common to mix cream gloss with walnut gloss

if you mix from 1 supplier to another then the carcasses will be different but if you don't mind that then there is no reason why you can't mix it -my only concern would be that if you for example had mixed wickes units and worktops with a b&q drawer unit and something went wrong with the drawer unit, b&q wouldn't cover the costs of potentially removing the worktop to fix the drawers (if that makes sense)

most base units are the same size across different companys but wall units do vary in height

Ah thanks Yes thats what I mean! Probably I'd keep it all from the same supplier though.
