Welsh dresser

Hi, i bought a welsh dresser and it has just been delivered but the top half and bottom half are completely separate and there is no way of attaching them together. I asked the person who sold it to me and they said that's just the way it is but I can't use it like this as the top half is unstable.

Does anyone know how would I go about fixing them together? The dresser is made out of pine (not sure if that's important, sorry I am totally a bit clueless about this kind of thing)?

Ok thanks - how does it get fixed to the wall, just hammer nails through it into the wall?

You need to screw it to the wall. Can you see any little predrilled holes it for screws to go through? If not, then I would drill two (discrete as possible) holes, then put a pencil through each to mark the wall behind. Then drill into the wall, insert rawlplug and then screw through.

Never bothered screwing mine to the wall. The top half was so heavy anyway that it never moved.
