Kids room, which wallpaper would you choose - PLEASE!

Am redoing the kids room, putting down laminate flooring.

which wallpaper would you get?

and would you just do 1 wall and paper the other 3 plain?!

wee houses

big stripes

thin stripe?

I need to paper all 4 walls as they are crap for painting,

o any other suggestions?

boys are 5 and 6 by the way x

I like the stripey ones. The horizontal one is nice and unusual, I'd definitely only do 1 wall of that though.

If the walls are super shite then get textured paper as it'll piss you off that you can see all the bumps.

I did use that smooth-over stuff, it was quite easy.

I like Hamptons horizontal best. But would paper the other walls with lining paper and paint plain colours.

I have paper from Wallpaper Direct in a vertical stripe similar to the others you linked (but in lime and pink, etc.) in my living room and it really livens the room up but is quite grown up perhaps for a child's room. Mind you, I'm all for not going all fluffy bunny in children's rooms.

Could you try a mural?

I like the camping one but they may outgrow it quickly. I'm not mad keen on stripes - I like the idea but they make my eyes go funny on walls. That could just be me .
Be careful painting thin lining paper-I've done this as my plaster is shit - and it can go bubbly with thinner papers.

i think i'd papaer the other walls with a plain colour rather than paint, it just doesn't work well on their walls

If you want vertical stripe (is the room long, narrow, wide?) then the campside one is best I reckon.

If money is no object I'd pick this one - it's fab!! You could always paper one wall in it and then use a toning paper on the other walls.

Definitely the camping one, but maybe just on the one wall. Its almost identical to the fabric I have chosen for the curtains in DS' room (he's 3, and I want something that will not date as the window is so big its costing a lot for made to measure).

Camping for me for two walls. Two walls a plain colour.
Wish I was redecorating...

We've got a bright striped paper by Nono in my children's bedroom (www.tangletree-interiors.co.uk/wallpaper/nono/urban-jungle/jungle-varying-stripes/jungle-varying-stripes-370350/) and its fab - having said that, we only have it underneath the picture rail on 2 walls - above the picture rail, ceiling, woodwork, large window blind and furniture is all white which tones it all down a little, and then the other 2 walls are a contrasting plain colour. I agree that 4 walls of stripes might be too much.

The Nono paper was expensive but it is really thick and was a doddle to hang (I did it myself!). We used very thick lining paper on the other walls and they look very smooth.
