online Estate Agent v traditional Estate Agent

Hi all,
We're looking to sell our house and I have been surprised but the difference in price between online EA (£300 all in) and traditional EA (£2.5k plus vat). It would be great if we could potentially save £2k by selling with an online agent and given that the type of person who is looking at homes like ours is likely to be young professionals, who tend to use the internet to search for property rather than visit EA shops, then this seems sensible.
But is it too good to be true? Grateful if anyone could share their experience.
Thanks

Will the online agent give you access to Rightmove and other big property sites? Will they provide photography and floorplans? Those would be my two biggest concerns.

If you are happy to try and sell with virtual agency and you aren't in a hurry, you have nothing to lose but ask yoursel how easily you will be able to fit in viewings and how comfortable you would be conducting them. I have tried to sell twice myself, never with any success :( but have bought four times privately so it can be done.

Thanks for your reply, yes the online agent does the particulars & floorplan and gets you on Rightmove and a few other website, they arrange your viewings and call for feedback and they review the position with you every 4 weeks. Would need carry out the viewings myself but am on mat leave for next 5 months so not a problem.
The main difference seems to be the traditional agent call everyone on their books to say we have this new property you might be intrested in, where as the online agent waits for people to go onto Rightmove and request details.
A house up the road has just sold with an online agent, am thinking of knocking on the door and asking them if they'd recommend them.
