...for turf to be lifted, ground leveled, 18 slabs put down on concrete (ready for a shed to be constructed) and turf removed and disposed of?

We've been quoted £445 cash. We're in E. Mids if that makes a difference.

We're on Notts/Derbyshire border and we were quoted between £1700 and £2500 for 4m x 4m last year if that helps? We did it ourselves in the end!

No they didn't Poncey , just that Saturday was the earliest they could do it - I'd said I needed it doing asap which might have been a naive mistake on my behalf!

A skip to clear it would be £100-150. Then approx £10 an hour for labour

Turf makes brilliant compost if you just want to roll it up and leave it for a few months - will save you any disposal charges Wink
