Granite Transformations

DH and I have been to a Granite Transformations showroom today thinking that we may have our kitchen worktops overlaid with this product.
Has anyone ever used them?
I think we will need 3 (3 metre) lengths to cover our work tops and probably new plinths in the same product & a new sink.
Got a lady coming to measure up next week, but have no idea of prices at the moment.
Has anyone got any idea on price and has anyone had it done and what did you think?

Bump - I would really like to hear from anyone who has had this done too.

Well we've decided to go for it at a cost of £3800.
Starting next Thursday with sink fitting and templating and final fitting of work tops the following Monday.
Will keep you posted unavailable!

This work was completed in our kitchen yesterday and it looks absolutely lovely.
The fitter told me he was a perfectionist and he truly was. His workmanship is neat and superb.
It has given our kitchen a real lift.
Very pleased

I'd forgotten I had posted on this thread - was wondering who had done so in my name!

Glad to hear you're happy with it Bearcat, but there's no chance I can consider it at the moment at even half that price. We have boring things like windows to replace first.

£3800? Shock bloody hell. I have full-on granite worktops in my kitchen and they only cost around that.

DH refused to go for straight granite as it would have probably not met the tiles properly and then we would have ended up having to retile / replaster as well (original tiles cost £500 about 12 years ago and DH did tiling himself so labour cost nothing).
Also had plinths done, very nice new sink and tap.
Looks as good as friends granite work top and theres no DIY we need to do!
