I need to order this week but still can't find anything near to my budget that I like.

I want high shine black worktops but can't afford granite Sad

I like the thought of a "skirting board" tiles with a splash back & then paint the rest of the kitchen York white.

I'm keeping my light beechwood units & dark quary stone floor & all the appliances are black.

Do I go for a black sink or stainless steel?

I need help & lot's of cheap links please.

I'm off to bed Fairy, but will look up this thread tomorrow. It's soooo important to get things right isn't it? You have to be so sure about every detail Confused

I bought a glass splashback made in a custom size from here last summer www.loveglassuk.com/Home.aspx. Picked a colour off the RAL chart to match some red glass lamp shades. It is beautiful and is no porblem to keep clean and shiny. I just wash with fairy liquid then dry with a tea towel. Highly recommended.

If you don't mind me asking Choc, how much did you pay for it. Ours is going to cost £200. What colour did you go for?

maryjane71 · 05/03/2011 22:05

Sorry, you did say red! Hope fairy comes back so can have a look at that website

MJ it was £190 and it is 190x65cm. It is a really gorgeous rich red colour
