Am planning on Elephants Breath on walls in hall/stairs but not 100% sure on what to do on woodwork - any suggestions as to what has worked well for any of you?

Its a very light area if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

Oh and what finish - gloss, eggshell??

Try Skimmimg Stone or slipper satin. As for finish, hmmm. Eggshell is a nice finish but gloss will be more hardwearing. I'd prob still go for eggshell tho!

We have skimming stone. It looks lovely. I agree with eggshell too. We have it on all our woodwork - it gives a lovely soft finish.

I have used Dimity with Charleston Grey which is similar to E Breath, always eggshell rather than gloss.

Oh good unanimous on the eggshell which was my preferred choice.

Will try dimity and skimming stone when I pop into the shop next.

Def eggshell, F & B gloss is really shinny, its all water based now so the eggshell is as hardwearing as the gloss.

Charleston Grey is gorgeous with Elephants breath as a contrast colour (but not on woodwork).

Elephants Breath??

How about some Camel Spit? Oh, or maybe Wildebeest Beard? Grin
