West Wimbledon / New Malden VS East Sheen / Barnes

Upon realizing that it will be really difficult to find anything larger than a shed in SW13/14, I am starting to consider West Wimbledon New Malden sort of areas. We need 3-4 bedrooms, and a large garden (to build a garden office shed). Preferably side access to garden...... (to get bikes and motorbike in and out)

Can you recommend any areas? How do these areas compare,in terms of demographics, and good schools?

What kind of budget are you working to, Quint?

Don't know if you're still in touch with her, but Jura lives in New Malden.

I hope your budget is big

upto 700.... Preferably around the 500 mark..
Not in touch with Jura, sadly. Dont know how to get hold of her, as I have not seen her around here for ages.

Ah - she's on my Linked In.

If you PM me an e-mail address, I'll get in touch with her and ask her to talk to you.

Friends with DC live in New Malden, to the east of the High Street on the roads leading up to Beverly Park (Malden Hill, Dukes Avenue etc).

I think the other good area is the "Groves" on the west of the High Street - Lime Grive, CHestnut Grove etc.

Good primaries and secondaries (as it's LB Kingston), lots going on for the DC, good rail links etc.
