Shades of green - help!

We are looking for a light moss green paint colour, not pastelly but not too deep either. It's for our sitting room which is north facing. I have bought various tester pots but can't seem to find something that I like.

Does anyone have something similar and can direct me to a name?!

Thanks

I have recently used crown's mojito recently in my little one's bedroom. I tried out about 10 testers, and this was the shade I really loved.

I hope it helps.

Farrow and Ball have some lovely greens but I'll be called a ponce if I bang on about it too much. Smile

Have a look at Little Greene's "Olive Oil" & "Acorn". LG does an extra durable emulsion as well.

Good luck!

Thanks for help everyone! The problem is I think that there is too much choice!

I went today and have got a couple of farrow and ball greens which look hopeful and also looked at crown but they didn't have that particular one. Am going to look further afield and hopefully will find that, plus little Greene.

Now I just need it to be daylight to try them out!
Thanks for the direction everyone, much needed and appreciated!

Hello, Piste.

Have F&B's Cooking Apple Green and Green Ground in our front room. Very lovely, calming colours.

Knottttttttttyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Have missed you ( and your funny ways!)

F&B green ground is one I have! We can potentially have matching sitting rooms!

I also got F&B Pale powder which is also a green.

Is the cooking apple quite deep a colour - it looks v nice. Our sitting room is north facing and never gets the sun, but I really do like it.

I always love Dulux Celtic Forest - you have to get it mixed up though...

Can't remember which one is which but they both look fabulous. No help, is it? Grin

Our room is east/west facing. Dual aspect rather than spinning. Grin

What I have found useful is that the paint hasn't faded in 18 months which has come in very handy when having to use match pots to cover the red lipstick and permanent marker pen artistic aspirations of youngest family member.

I can come and add red lippy daubs to your walls if you really want matching sitting rooms.

And the comfort of a lego strewn rug.

You're not having my woodburner, but the cobwebs are yours.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 04/11/2010 19:46

may pass on the red lippy daubs if that's ok Knotty!

May steal your wood burner tho
