How to repair rotten wooden windows

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good website that gives instructions on repairing rotten wooden window frames?

Or has anyone attempted it either successfully or unsucessfully?

Our new house has mostly double glazed windows, but one of the bedrooms and the huge window in the dining room have started to rot on the bottom.
I don't really want to spend money on replacing them with double glazed units at the moment but I don't wan't the windows to fall out either.

Dig out the rotten stuff, apply www.ronseal.co.uk/products/wet-rot-hardener fill with www.ronseal.co.uk/products/high-performance-wood-filler which will require a bit of sculpting when drying, do it in layers if neccessary, repaint with this www.dulux.co.uk/products/info/weathershield_exterior_satin.jsp £20 all told, Job done. Doable in a few hours as they are all quick dry products. I did my front window at the bottom, you cannot tell the difference. :)
