Which kitchen floor - oak or reclaimed maple?

We have a white gloss Ikea kitchen with Duropal Block Walnut surfaces (www.duropal.co.uk/decors/).

It is light room - lots of windows, white walls probably will go off-white with next coat of paint, and bright utensils/pans etc to stir it up a bit.

We are vacillating between these two floors.

www.realoakfloors.co.uk/karndean_van_gogh_grandewood_range_reclaimed_maple_vgw71t.php is very warm and a bit more modern looking.

picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/1Vu6cTf7UJfZ-2sJH1A_GA is a gorgeous grain, still light, but not so yellowy.

I love both, have chosen both at different times and have to plump for one today. Dh is leaning towards maple but not strongly...

What would you choose?

I prefer second one - but then again I have almost exact quandry - high glos units - walnut island with White silestone tops to all and am thinking of american white oak so perhaps going paler than these

I would have gone for paler oak if I could find it in the Karndean range, and we're kind of committed to that now...
