Hello (again!)

I have a small corner sink in the downstairs loo with no splashback - the sink is mounted onto a painted wall. It does need something (I think?) to protect the wall - any advice? I want something I can do fairly easily myself -I was thinking simply a bit of clear acrylic or something - but how would it attach to the wall? Screws? Glue? Any advice much appreciated!
Thanks!

best type of splashback is just a few ceramic tiles - very easy to do.

If you wanted to use clear acrylic the best way to attach it would be rawl plugs, brass screws and screw cups.

I would still use tiles though

What about mosaic tiles? They may be really effective, plus you can cut the tiles to the exact size that you want. V v easy to put up but grouting can take ages but should be OK in a small area.

you could get acrylic and there are magnets which you can use which stick to the glass and wall or get glass cut and the drill in holes for screws with screwcaps.

you would need to seal both at the bottom with clear sealent. we have glass above our sink in the bathroom and it looks great.

Tiles are dead easy, particularly if you don't need to cut any, and introduce a bit of colour and interest. Ceramic or glass.

If you use a glass/acrylic splashback, I don't know how you'd deal with the corner. But clear glass looks very minimal and neat.

I have a oiece of white opaque glass which was cut to size by a glazier and stuck on with, I think, no more nails. Looks fab, cheap, no grouting...
