i use one from holland which has a mould preventer but that still eventually goes black. It comes off the tiles and finds the joins in the sealant. I hate it because it makes my white bath look dirtyAngry

When you replace it, are you cleaning the bath down with bleach before you reapply it? It could be that there are a few mold spores left which are just regrowing.

I used this one and it's been fine. (Don't do what I did and try and smooth it out with your finger, it doesn't end well! Blush

Don't forget to clean up with whatever is recommended on the tube of sealant remover or it will melt any new sealant you apply.

Tape off both above and below the sealant line when you come to re-do it. Yes use your finger to push the sealant into the join between the bath and the tiles BUT dip your finger in water with a bit of washing up liquid in it (will stop it sticking to your finger)

Always have a roll of kitchen roll and wipe off the sealant off your finger. When you remove the tape you may have a little ridge at both the top and bottom of your sealant line, again dip that finger in the washing up liquid water and smooth flat.

If you are doing this for the first time go slowly and do a little bit at a time.

I always use uni-bond and usually the one that allows you to re-use the bathroom after 2 hours although I leave it a lot longer but not the 24 hours required with the other sealants.

i used the unibond two hour stuff. that was a horrible job though and it looks a bit messy
