Advice needed on an eco bathroom refit

We are about to refit our bathroom (we have to do it quickly as we have just discovered it is leaking). As we need a total refit, I thought it was worth making the new bathroom as eco-friendly as possible to reduce our water usage.

However I'm feeling a bit rushed with the decisions we have to make. Are water-saving toilets any different to normal dual-flush toilets? Is it worth installing a water-saving shower or taps? Which manufacturers should I be looking at?

I was also wondering about greywater systems... am just starting to research this so any tips would be much appreciated.

I'm interested in this too - we are moving to a house with a water meter. We currently have the Wickes eco toilet in our downstairs cloakroom and it hardly uses any water so we will be getting another one of those when we move. I think I read about an aerating shower head which reduces the amount of water but it doesn't feel like it iykwim. You can also adapt normal taps to use less water. I think I will have to get a timer for the shower too. I spend far too long in there so need to reduce my shower times. Anyway, I will mark my place for someone much more knowledgeable to come along Smile

Thanks biffandchip. I think we'll get the Wickes Eco toilet and sink as they are half price at the moment - will probably get an aerating shower head as well.

We have just moved from a terraced to a detached house and are being charged about double for water bills. We are going to have a meter installed as it should work out cheaper - also thinking about saving water in the garden as well. We are renovating the whole house so it makes sense to make it as eco-friendly and efficient as possible :-)
