Has anyone else actually won the £2,000 jackpot Sprive prize?

Bit of a random first post, but this has been bugging me!

My partner and I are trying for a family at the moment, so I’ve become slightly obsessed with finding ways to chip away at our mortgage before that happens.

I’d only been using Sprive for a couple of months when I somehow won their £2,000 prize draw. It was paid straight to my mortgage lender and should save me more than £1.3k in interest. I’ve put a screenshot below because it still feels slightly made up, I genuinely never win anything and just stared at my phone when it happened!

Now I’m wondering whether the odds are actually better than I thought- maybe there's not many entries? Or whether this was just completely ridiculous luck. Has anyone else here won one of the bigger prizes, or do you know anyone who has? I'm wondering if I should be telling more of my friends about it if the odds are good!

Even without the prize draw, I’ve found it useful for cashback at Tesco, Uber and Boots. If anyone was already thinking of trying it, my code is JM06ZHFZ - good luck on the draw!

Gambling is idiotic if you are trying to save money. The odds are set so that in the long term, you lose. Stop gambling and save instead.

DoubleShotEspressox · 14/07/2026 07:20

It’s not gambling? It’s a legitimate app that uses vouchers to pay off small sums from your mortgage when you spend money.

Sprive is not gambling it’s a cashback shopping app that you get entered in a draw if you make a referal. I’ve only ever had £5 back so if anyone wants to try it here is my code. I just need 1 more referal 😊NRZRIXSZ

What a cool app, I wasn’t aware of this. I’ve signed up using @Toooldtocare25 referral.

If anyone would care to use my referral code please do:

Ah thank you , I used some of the other cash back apps and then transfer it to Sprive too to double hit. Sooner mortgage is gone the better 🤣 23 years at 45 is too long
