Has anyone tried HexClad pans? Are they really worth the hype (and the price)?

I keep seeing HexClad cookware all over the place lately — Gordon Ramsay swears by them apparently — and I’m really tempted, but the prices made me hesitate. I do love cooking and I’m sick of cheap pans that warp or lose their non-stick after a few months.
Before I make the splurge, I wanted to see if anyone here has actually used HexClad. Are they genuinely better, or just clever marketing? I’ve read mixed things online.
Also, I came across a page that lists some offers: https://vouchers.hotdeals.com/brands/hexclad. The discounts look decent, but I’m always wary of those sites — are they legit?
Would love to hear honest opinions before I decide whether to go for it. I don’t mind paying for quality if it actually lasts, but I’m tired of being burned (literally and financially!) by “premium” kitchen brands.

Honestly, I wouldn’t say they’re worth the hype. I tried one and while it looked great at first, it didn’t perform much better than my cheaper pans over time. The non-stick effect faded and it was harder to clean than expected. They’re not bad, just not as amazing as the price suggests. I’d save the money and go for a reliable mid-range brand instead.

I’ve used a HexClad pan for about a year, and honestly, it’s good but not life-changing. It heats evenly, feels sturdy, and handles metal utensils better than most non-stick pans, but you still need a bit of oil and proper care to keep it performing well. It’s pricey, so I’d say it’s worth it only if you cook often and want something long-lasting — otherwise, a solid stainless or mid-range non-stick pan can do the job just fine.

If you cook a lot and your current pans are driving you mad, it might be worth the upgrade. If not, I’d probably test a more affordable option first before spending that much.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences — it’s been really helpful to read the different takes. It sounds like HexClad works brilliantly for some people, especially if you cook a lot and take care of your pans properly, but maybe not worth the splurge if you’re more of a casual cook. I guess it comes down to how much you value the hybrid surface and longevity versus the price tag. I might keep an eye out for a solid discount before deciding — no harm in saving a bit if I do take the plunge!

I think that’s a fair takeaway — they seem to sit in that middle ground where they’re great if you really enjoy cooking and use them often, but probably overkill for occasional use. I’ve tried one of their frying pans at a friend’s place, and it did heat evenly and felt sturdy, but I’m not sure it justifies replacing a whole set unless you’re after long-term durability. Maybe start with a single piece first to see if it suits your cooking style before committing to the full range.
