Just switched to Octopus Energy myself and can confirm it's been brilliant.. competitive pricing, no exit fees, and the switch process was seamless. If you're considering it, feel free to use my referral link and we both get £50 credit added to our accounts.

A few tips:

  • Enter your actual usage from an old bill when getting a quote (not low/medium/high) — keeps your direct debit accurate
  • You can lower your monthly direct debit in the app if it feels too high
  • Have your meter serial numbers handy from an old bill
  • If you have a smart meter you can claim a free Caffe Nero or Greggs coffee weekly as a perk. Note: Get a large coffee - it still works!

I set up a website to help with tarriffs and pricing if it's of use: https://www.octopus-energy-referral-link.co.uk/

Happy to answer any questions!
