we are thinking of going just for the day early sept. we have 2 adults, 1 child and 1 under 3. we dont have enough tesco vouchers to cash in, so i was wondering what was the next cheapest way of doing this day trip? or if there are any offers on at the minute? apart from peppa world this is our first big park trip and i am a bit Shock at the prices!

thank you

Could you use Tesco Clubcards to buy at least one of the adults tickets? Presumably the under 3 would be free anyway? Then you would need to find one of those "buy one get one free" vouchers to cover other adult and your other child?

Don't some of the websites - and Mumsnet might be one of them (not sure) - including This Morning sometimes offer deals - have you 'googled' 'cheapest Legoland deals'?

We compromised all our principles and bought The Sun for about a week to get two free tickets which helps considerably! But that offer is long over....

Hi. We went to legoland recently and had a fab time. You can use nectar to buy tickets, 500 points is £5 towards a ticket. Some Tesco products are still carrying bogof vouchers which will get one child in free with a paying adult. Your under 3 doesn't pay so it looks like you'll get your other child in free but the adults will pay. I have a voucher I could post to you if yku need it. Have a great time

Thank you. Spookily I had the party pieces brochure through this morning as it will be DS's birthday, threw it in the recycling bin and noticed a 'child free' voucher Smile. so buying one tesco voucher seems a good option (we do have enough money for one ticket).

Have just spoken to DH about it though and he wondered if the children might be too young for what there is there (will be 5 and 2)?

No, they should be okay - think Legoland is more for the younger ones than a lot of the other theme parks. I took DS for the first time when he was about 3 and he had a lovely time!

Have a fantastic time!

We booked via Kidstart:

Could be useful depending on dates

we've just been with sun tickets and it was fab. my 5yr old loved it especially the water play area (take swimwear if its sunny). jet petrol stations were giving away bogof tickets. there were lots of sun tickets on ebay too.

have a look on ebay people often sell unwanted tickets and tesco vouchers on there
