Holiday clubs - Oxfordshire

Can any recommend some holiday clubs / what on Earth you're doing to cover the holidays for prep schools in Oxfordshire? We were originally looking at Manor in Abingdon which came with its own internal holiday clubs (praise be!) which covered most of the holidays until the state schools broke up and DS could then go to any of the paid for clubs.

However due to changing circumstances we are moving him away from Manor to a different prep school, but they don't have a holiday provision (or they do, but it doesn't kick in till the state schools break up)

aargh. What are other parents in Oxfordshire doing for holiday cover please? Yes will arrange with DH about annual leave, sharing ad hoc days with other families but for the main bulk of the holidays, any suggestions anyone can help with would be hugely appreciated!

So is the most pressing concern finding childcare to cover the gap until state school holidays start? Or are you looking for recommendations for childcare during the state school holiday period too?

Exactly, no issues with the holidays clubs once state schools finish, it's finding ones that are open the 3 weeks before in the summer before state finishes (for example, Prep schools finish 3rd July, state doesn't finish till 20th)

we can't be the only family in prep in Oxfordshire with 2 working parents!, what is everyone else doing?

Is it too late to time your own holidays / annual leave for that window? We will be moving to private next year and our intention is to exploit that window before the state school holidays start for quieter and cheaper family holiday travel / accommodation. I’m afraid I don’t know of any paid-for childcare solutions outside of the main state school holidays, and we struggled to find childcare solutions more generally when my DC was younger (also rural Oxfordshire).

It is sadly too late for next year 26/27 to move our current booked hols, but also combined annual leave won't cover the vast differences between state and indie closures. I didn't realise just what an amazing offering our previous school choice was offering, but it won't be possible to continue DS there.
I just presumed the prep schools would all have their own solutions and offerings for this and it looks like they don't. Some severe spreadsheets organising coming up this weekend to try and work out what on earth we're going to do I think!

We take annual leave.

Why move away from the manor if it worked so well?

Why move away from the manor if it worked so well?

DH and I have our own reasons for moving him.
The reasons for this is not what is being discussed, but thank you for input anyway.
