Hi there, wondered if any current parents could give me some insight into how their sons are doing at Dulwich College? Do you recommend the school?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

We have two boys there, they are happy and thriving. It’s a wonderful school, we had to make a choice between several independent schools but we’ve never looked back since. Feel free to ask any specific questions, happy to help.

Do you live locally to the school @nutella8

My DC works there. They describe the boys as lovely, hard working and very respectful.

This is going back a bit but a young boy I know went there and didn’t like it. It was a pity as it was near his home. He went to Oundle instead. I live near the school though and it has a good reputation.

They always seem nice if you see them in uniform outside the school or eg in a local park (several have talked to my family said they go there).

@nutella8 Hello, can i just ask, do the boys get any regular exposure to girls? Is there anything you do perhaps outside school that makes up for lack of interaction at school?
we love the school but moving from a coed hence the concern.

There are some joint activities with JAGS, both academic and social, but the interaction definitely seems to increase in the senior years and sixth form. I’ve seen joint activities around drama, music, some community/partnership initiatives, and also some shared liberal studies/enrichment sessions in Years 12–13. That said, personally I wish there were more social events and opportunities for interaction between the two schools.
