DD's reception class has 3 teachers and 3 TAs (Two classes and they all mix up together IYSWIM)

All have been brilliant with her, and she would like to give them a small gift. Obviously this could end up £££.

What do you suggest?

I think they would honestly love it best if your dd made them each a card. If you wanted to do more than this I would speak to the school office and ask them if the reception teachers would prefer a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates to share.

How much do you want to spend or were you thinking home made?

I've decided that DD can make a card for each of them. That's have to do.

Lynette, I am a TA and I am given gifts by some children every year. I appreciate them because I appreciate the thought that went into them, even if the gift itself is not to my taste. But the thing I appreciate the most, is the card/note that has been written by the child concerned. It doesn't matter to me whether it is an expensive card or a scrap of paper, I treasure them all. And, unlike the gifts, I do actually keep them all! I came across some a few days ago, from children who would be in their twenties now, and I had a lovely time remembering them whilst re-reading their notes to me.

I hope your DDs teacher and TA like the cards!

I love getting cards from the children, and I also really appreciate letters from parents saying lovely things to me .
