a homeopath appointment. Ds1 in year 2 has bad asthma and excezma. Ds2 is in yr 1 and has an undiagnosed stomach condition which means he is regularly sick and soils his pants. School sends him home everytime he soils his pants or vomits, this can happen up to two to three times a week, and they have made it quite clear they are not happy and want it resolved as soon as possible. They know he is under the hospital and the docotor has even allowed me to give them his number to chat about how he cant help it. I have had numerous discussions with school how we seem to be going round in circles with the hospital and dont seem to be getting to the root of the problem. Both me and my mum have had very good experiences with homeopathy, so my mum rang the homeopath and she seems to think she can help them both. She also said she could see both boys together at a reduced rate at her teaching clinic, but this would mean them having an afteroon of school. This is also the only way I could afford to take them. Do you think the school will be funny.
Sorry it is so long, and thankyou for reading if you got this far

It's a medical problem - which the school has said it wants resolved asap (. Like you want it hanging on! Supportive, eh?)
So how on earth could they object? THe fact that it's an "alternative" therapy is irrelevant.
Anyway, even if they do object, there's sod all they can do about it. Plenty of others swan off for a darn sight longer than one afternoon for holidays and allsorts.
So, go ahead and stop worrying. (about them, not your DS!) Good luck.

It's a medical appointment, the school need neither know nor care that it's with a homeopath.
