Quick question..Teachers maybe? What is a page?

This may sound totally daft but what do you term a 'page' of work? Is it one side or both sides of the paper?

Dd is doing a project (the first big one she has had to do alone and research) The work to be done must be 1-2 pages on various headings adding up to a total of around 25 pages.

I don't want her to be doing twice as much as expected as that could end up as a huge amount more.

Well, I'm not a teacher but if someone told me to do a page of something I'd do one side of stuff, not bothe sides. HTH...

Not a teacher but would assume it means a side - 2 sides, 2 pages.

HTH

a page I would take to mean one side of A4 paper

that's a long project, 25 pages!

Phew! I hoped you'd say that but I had a nagging doubt. Actually I've just looked again and it comes to about 16-20 pages I guess so not so bad as I thought.

Dd likes doing it but it's hellish to fit in; but then homework always is

I seem to be having detailed yelled out conversations about it whilst I'm cooking the dinner every night. It'll be a relief when it's over really. Thanks everyone

25 pages? How old is she?

avaTsar · 13/11/2008 19:43

Dd is 10 in yr5.

But maybe not 25; when I totted it up it seems 20ish give or take.

We're still getting other homework too though ie spellings, maths and sheets to do. It's a bit too much I think but don't get me started on that!
