I always used to go to Hawkins Bazaar type shops - tiny wind-up ladybirds type shop IYKWIM.

Dear god, don't give pre-schoolers a tube of glitter!!

janeite · 24/10/2008 17:26

A big tub of bubbles each?

A tub of playdough each?

dilbertina · 24/10/2008 17:28

How about recipe and ingredients for xmas cookies, plus xmas biscuit cutter. Tie up in cellophane with ribbon. The parents will LOVE you!

smartiejake · 24/10/2008 17:33

Have you got a "Factory shop" near you? They have loads of reasonably priced arty crafty things suitable for preschoolers.

mummatoone · 24/10/2008 17:45

Are you allowed to give chocolate or is that outlawed by the healthy eating brigade?
A bar wrapped in a personalised wrapper is a nice touch
