I know they're a'comin' but savour the moment and enjoy what's left of our holidays..

Yes, thanks for asking, OK.

Very busy at the start of the new year and job wise I have lots of changes. So I'm too busy to be maudlin for too long. Dh would be bloody annoyed with me if I were to do that.

We've had a very busy holiday and the kids are outstanding. I'm so very proud of them both. And if they can be that good, I can manage

MB

Roisin, dd1 is 11 and in P7; dd2 is 9.5 and in P6. I can't believe dd1 is off to high school next year!

Funny this thread is here I was thinking of starting a 'brace yourselves' thread. Last year there was so much 'teacher bashing' I was shocked to see it all.

I'm back on Wednesday two days music and one day cover for an overseas teacher doing her britash degree and PGCE.

She is a very different teacher to me but I think it will be OK. There will be a thread about it if not!!

Someone kick me off here and make me go and start my planning!

At the moment, it feels like standing at the edge of a cliff. Once I've started planning, the holidays really will be over.

The "Back to school" signs in shops always bring me out in a cold sweat!

I'm back on Mon after maternity leave since Christmas too. Hope I can remember how to do this teaching malarky!

And DD2 is still not sleeping through. If there's a thread "AIBU - to think my child's teacher shouldn't fall asleep during silent reading?" you'll know it's about me!
