My children's school lost about 13 teachers last year though they have an ofsted stating they are a very good school. Two of the new teachers are leaving this year which is really sad as one of them is fantastic. I think our head is totally inflexible and doesn't want teachers bringing in new initiatives as ds's teacher suggested she teach ds to write with a system from her old school and she wasn't allowed He continues to make slow progress. I find the Head and Deputy quite intimidating and never "visible" in the playground before/after school. To work for them might be rather tense. My friend is an LSA there and has suggested as much
