Moving to Bromley

Hi there, we're moving to Bromley and our kids will switch into primary school, years 3 and 5. The last conversation here about schools in the neighbourhood is very outdated, so any advice or feedback on schools in the area would be welcome, please.

I think we'll be in catchment for Hayes and Pickhurst.

With thanks.

As you are looking for mid-year admissions, the main thing will be, which school or schools (there may not be one with places for both) actually have places to offer?

Hi there, we'd be looking to find a place at the start of the year in September.

Both good schools. I looked round both and others last year and preferred Hayes. Both feel quite academic. Pickhurst is 4 form entry so was too big for us, and bear in mind is split into infants and juniors (with different head teachers).

PS I have friends with dc at both if you have any specific questions.

Have you done in year admission form for September?

What @teksquadsaid. They are both oversubscribed. Do you have a property in catchment now? You need an address to be able to apply.
