have just found out DS1 will 'be tested' within a couple of years of starting school

This is from 2003. Anti-SATers are in good company!

opposition from children's authors

I accept KS1 tests are pretty unavoidable . KS2 & 3 are the ones to boycott.

I will be withdrawing my children from SAT tests as and when they become of age for it to be an issue.
